ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS:

  • WIFI AND STREAMING: While free WiFi is available in the meeting area, we do not encourage live streaming or remote presentations by presenters. Please plan to deliver your session in a manner that does not require an internet connection.
  • LAPTOPS AND AV: Each meeting room has a laptop and standard AV setups (projector, screen). Presenters may bring their own laptop, but need to arrive early to the session to set it up and then must restore the meeting room laptop when finished.  If you plan to use your own laptop, please notify us through the Presenter Communication Form so we may alert the AV crew to be available to assist you, if needed. Standard HDMI and VGA connections to the projector will be provided. Special adapters for Macs or devices with other connection types beyond HDMI and VGA will not be provided and presenters will need to bring their own adapters for those types of devices.
  • ROOM SETUP: Except for preconference sessions which are set up to presenter specifications, the meeting rooms will be set up theater style with capacity ranging from 30 to 100. Lab rooms are set up in a hollow square to accommodate 20. We are unable to accommodate requests for different room set ups. If you rearrange the room, be sure to restore it to its original configuration at the end of your session. To view your room location and size, go to the Meeting Room Map.
  • ROOM MONITORS: Each room has a volunteer Room Monitor who is there to help you as needed, i.e., call for AV assistance, distribute papers, etc. The Room Monitor also completes a session evaluation form that notes any extraordinary circumstances, audience reactions, etc. You may contribute your input on the form by asking the Room Monitor.
  • SESSION RECORDINGS:  All conference sessions are recorded.  By presenting, you consent to being recorded.  ATALM will not use the recordings for commercial purposes. To improve the quality of recordings, please speak directly into the microphone provided.
  • POWERPOINT SLIDES AND HANDOUTS: When available (before or after the conference), upload your PowerPoint presentation, handouts, and any other materials you wish to share with a broader audience by using the Presenter Communication Form.
  • LAB SUPPLIES:  With support from Gaylord and IMLS, presenters may request supplies and materials for their labs.  Please use this form to indicate your needs.  When complete, upload it using the Presenter Communication Form. All requests must be submitted by August 1.
  • COVID-19 RESPONSE AND SAFETY: ATALM cares deeply about your health and safety and will only hold the event if it is safe to do so. We are monitoring trends nationally and in California.  We are following the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the State of California, the Pechanga Resort and Casino,  and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We most likely will require the following:
    • Covid-19 vaccinations and/or negative tests
    • Mask policy will be based on State and CDC guidelines at the time of the conference
    • Hand sanitizer stations will be accessible throughout the event in addition to other safety precautions put in place by the Pechanga Resort Casino
  • PROMOTE YOUR SESSION: Spread the word about your session on social media by using #ATALM2022. ATALM browses hashtags and reshares appropriate posts on its social media accounts. Links to ATALM’s Social Media accounts are below:
