At no additional charge, conference attendees may participate in Professional Development Certificates, thanks to funding provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
To earn a certificate, participants must:
- Complete an enrollment form available here.
- Attend the specified conference workshops/sessions and verify attendance. Participants wishing to attend sessions outside of their discipline may, but will be required to make up the time by participating in additional online training.
- Complete a minimum of six hours of on-line training. List of training resources available here.
- Submit a Certificate Request and Evaluation Form by March 29, 2024.
Eligible candidates include:
- Staff members of tribal archives, libraries, museums, language programs, and historic preservation offices programs.
- Staff members of non-tribal cultural institutions who are tribally enrolled, or working directly with Native collections.
- Students enrolled in college-level library, museum, or archival programs with access to a tribal archive, library, or museum.
