Family Activities- The hotel is family friendly and offers attractions for all ages. It has four pools featuring cascading waterfalls and a 111-foot waterslide modeled after the ancient Casa Grande Ruins. The Koli Equestrian Center provides riding lessons, trail rides, and outdoor events. Younger guests may enjoy the Adventure Club which offers daily activities including cultural programming.
The Aji Spa offers the world's most authentic Native American spa services. Aji, meaning "Sanctuary" in the Pima language, is appropriately named after the nearby Aji Mountain located on the Gila River Indian Community where women and children would go in times of war. Aji Mountain is still one of the Community's most sacred treasures and fittingly, Aji Spa is where sacred Pima and Maricopa traditions are practiced and shared.
Tennis Courts If you booked within the ATALM block, the resort fee for your room is waived. Included in the complimentary resort package is free tennis court and tennis equipment rental (subject to availability) at the Aji Spa Tennis Courts. The Whirlwind Golf Club is truly a unique Southwest golf experience sensitively designed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Gila River Indian Community. The two courses, Devil's Claw and Cattail, are masterpieces developed by Gary Panks that will impress and challenge golfers of all skill levels. Featuring pristine and uncluttered views of the Sierra Estrella Mountains, the courses showcase the beauty of the natural terrain.

Huhugam Heritage Center, Gila River Indian Community (Pictured above) is a modern cultural center highlighting both the historic and living cultures of the Akimel O’odham and the Pee Posh, recognizing and preserving the enduring traditions of the Gila River Indian Community. It is located at 4759 n. Maricopa Road in Chandler.
Ak-Chin Him-Dak Museum was established to collect, analyze, preserve, protect, promote and teach various aspects of the Ak-Chin heritage, culture and communication between generations. Tribal crafts, exhibits and photographs of the Ak-Chin people are displayed.The Museum is distinguished from a traditional museum, in that land and territory replace the museum building, and the residents of the area take on the role of curator and public. The museum is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and is located at 47685 N. EcoMuseum Road in Maricopa.
The Heard Museum emphasizes the lifeways of indigenous people of the southwest, but the museum collection and exhibitions cover the living cultures and arts of all contemporary Native peoples. It is located at 2301 North Central Avenue in Phoenix.
Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park is located on a 1,500 year old archaeological site left by the Hohokam culture and is the largest preserved archaeological site within Phoenix. A fully accessible 2/3 mile trail takes you through a prehistoric Hohokam archaeological village site with a partially excavated platform mound, ball court, and replicated prehistoric houses. The museum displays artifacts of the Hohokam and discusses the Pueblo Grande village site. The children’s hands-on gallery has activities to help kids learn about the science of archaeology. The changing gallery features exhibits on various topics from archaeology, southwest cultures, and Arizona history. The Park is located at 4619 East Washington Street in Phoenix.
Rawhide Western Town and Steakhouse welcomes ATALM conference attendees to their 1880's western town full of fun, good eating, great shopping and a true taste of the Old West you'll not find anywhere else in Arizona. Transportation via boat is available from the hotel.
